21st Century Recognition Program
2002-2003
The 21st-Century Recognition Program honors states and branches that are models of excellence. The Greensboro Branch qualified for the Platinum Recognition Level, the highest level offered, and is commended for advancing AAUW's mission and Call to Action through local programming. Our Platinum status has earned the branch

The Branch Project highlighted was the Women's Equality Day Event held in conjunction with other women's groups on August 24th, 2002. The activity encompassed Woman-to-Woman Dialogues as well as a celebration of women's right to vote. Greensboro Branch members served on the planning committee and a high percentage of members were participants, with a diverse population of women in attendance.
